This Memorial Day my team hosted a tent at the starting line of the Bolder Boulder road race. Approximately 45,000 runners lined up by our office. My team members Laura and Stacia did a great job passing out hundreds of sunscreen lip balm to the runners. My daughter Audrey manned the megaphone with Simon our Beagle. My wife Karen and my son Nathan also helped out at our hospitality tent. We had a great turn out and it was awesome to see so many of our patients participate. We held a raffle for Free Zoom Whitening, a great in office tooth whitening procedure. We also had a raffle for $1500 off Invisalign Orthodontics. Invisalign is a great way to straighten teeth with clear aligners that are practically invisible. It’s a great way for adults to straighten their teeth without metal braces and much…much more comfortable.
After about an hour we ran out of our lip balms but the crowd kept coming completely overwhelming our supplies. Laura quickly purchased some spray sunscreen which was very much needed on such a sunny day in Colorado. I don’t know how many times we were asked for safety pins. Next year we will make sure we have plenty of supplies to support the runners.
